Ham and Cheesy Coleslaw
A healthy alternative to everyday ham and cheese sandwich
This recipe was created by Anita Popham from The Foodservice Centre, Cheddar, Somerset as her entry in the Wyke Farms Leskol Sandwich Designer of the Year Competiton in which she was a finalist
Ingredients
- Cheese and onion reduced fat/reduced salt bread
- Spread
- Honey roast ham
- Cheesey coleslaw consisting:
- grated Leskol cheese
- grated red and green cabbage
- sliced pink lady apples
- reduced fat mayonnaisse
- honey mustard dressing
Method
- Mix cheese, cabbage, apple, mayonnaise and add a little honey mustard dressing.
- Spread bread with the vegetable spread and place honey roast ham on bread.
- Spread cheesey coleslaw on the ham and top with final piece of bread.
